Ross Anderson

Ross Anderson

Education/Certification
Ross has a Biology degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, CA and a Masters degree in physical therapy from Chapman University in Orange, CA. Ross is currently licensed as a physical therapist in the state of Washington. He is also an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the APTA Private Practice Section.
Experience
Ross has more than 20 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.

“I like to work with all ages of patients and find satisfaction learning from all generations. It really gets fun when you have an older patient motivating and pushing a younger teen.”
On a personal note
“I have a lovely wife and we are blessed with two beautiful daughters. I have a passion for running and achieved one of my life-long goals by running the Boston marathon in 2000. I enjoy tennis, hiking, skiing and most other outdoor activities. Being a homeowner has baptized me into “do-it-yourself” carpentry and I have learned many tips. One is that you need the right tool to get the job done right (at least that’s what I tell my wife to justify buying another tool).”

 

Bryse Paffile

Bryse has Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Physical Therapy from Pensacola Christian College, and a Doctorate degree in Physical therapy from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and a member of the research section.
Experience
Bryse is a graduate of Southwest Baptist University with a clinical education in pain neuroscience education and implementation of functional training in treating patients. He has also been a presenter at the combined sections meeting of the APTA.

“During my graduate education I was able to attend 2 mission trips to Peru and East Asia. It was an opportunity that helped me understand that physical therapy can be performed no matter the language or cultural barriers. I enjoy working with anyone to return to doing what they enjoy. It has been a passion for me to help others recover with effective and researched treatment options in order to reach attainable goals.”
On a personal note
“I was born and raised in the Northwest and enjoy the outdoors, hiking, climbing, and any water sport. I have also enjoyed flatwater sprint canoeing internationally and I currently coach locally in Gig Harbor.”

George Harrington

George has a degree in Kinesiology with an Exercise-Science emphasis from San Francisco State University, and a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Colombia University.
Experience
George has been a physical therapist since 2012. He also received the highly acclaimed OCS (orthopedic clinical specialist) certification in 2017.

“When treating my patients, I like to consider the whole person. I use a multimodal approach when addressing their needs, be it musculoskeletal, neurological or otherwise.”
On a personal note
“I am originally from San Francisco, CA and I’m glad to be back on the West Coast! My passions are sports, running, hiking and honing my novice cooking skills. I have also dabbled in home brewing and am becoming very skilled with power tools to work on my home.”
Kelsey Crowder

Kelsey received a Bachelors degree in sports medicine from University of the Pacific. She went onto receive a Doctorate of Physical therapy from University of St. Augustine in San Marcos, CA. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Experience
Kelsey graduated from University of St. Augustine in 2018 and has had diverse clinical rotations including orthopedics, pediatrics and a skilled nursing facility. She was trained at a University that is known for it’s manual techniques and skills.

“I really joy getting to work with a diverse population and people of all ages. I have been blessed to have such varied clinical experience that have allowed me to be able to appreciate all stages of life and how physical therapy can help in those various stages. I have a passion for getting people back to doing what they love, whether it be a sport or a hobby that is dear to their heart.”
On a personal note
“I was born and raised in western Washington. I spent 7 years in California getting my degrees, but am very happy to be back. I was a swimmer throughout my life and love being active. I am a very family oriented person and really enjoy spending time with my family including the newest addition, my niece. In addition, I am a huge animal lover, especially dogs. I look forward to re-exploring this wonderful and beautiful state.”

Melissa Cotter

Melissa has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from SUNY Buffalo. She completed the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Green River College where she earned and Associates degree in Applied Science.

“Every person and every body is unique, so physical therapy can never take on a ‘one size fits all’ approach. I believe that therapy is an ongoing conversation between the individual and their therapist to determine the best path for healing. I love to help people gain a deeper understanding of how their body moves and what it needs to improve function and movement. It is exciting to work together to achieve or even surpass their goals.”
On a personal note
 “I have a passion for health and wellness. As yoga teacher (RTY-200) I like to spend my free time teaching and practicing yoga. I am a mother to 3 energetic swimmers and can often be found on the pool deck cheering them on.”

“I have a wife and a young daughter and I enjoy spending most of my free time with my girls. Being a dad is truly awesome and I enjoy every minute of it. My hobbies are all centered around sports and fitness. I played many sports during my youth and I have stayed active ever since. While I don’t play many organized sports lately, I enjoy running and lifting weights on a regular basis.”

Amy is a graduate of Pierce College with an Associate of Arts and Sciences Degree in Liberal Arts and is also a graduate of Green River Community College with an Associate of Applied Science Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Experience
Amy has more than 20 years of work experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. She has extensive experience treating patients who are recovering from surgery, been in a motor vehicle accident, suffered an on-the-job or sports injury and those who have general musculoskeletal and balance complaints.

I love to share what I learn! I also love to play in the outdoors and especially enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking and snowshoeing. I am a member of the Tacoma Mountaineers and have taken educational courses and earned some certifications in the areas of Wilderness First Aid, Outdoor Survival Skills, Backpacking and Snowshoeing.”

Sheldon graduated with honors in massage from Ashmead in 2006. He is uniquely certified in both medical massage therapy and lymphatic drainage.

Sheldon has 10 years of experience in therapeutic/treatment massage.

“Outside of work I enjoy mentoring young men. I am an assistant coach to my youngest son’s AAU basketball team. I have been married to my best friend, my wife, for 17 years. We have two boys, ages 23 and 16. I am a HUGE basketball and football fan.”
