Melissa Cotter

Melissa has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from SUNY Buffalo. She completed the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Green River College where she earned and Associates degree in Applied Science.
According to Melissa
“Every person and every body is unique, so physical therapy can never take on a ‘one size fits all’ approach. I believe that therapy is an ongoing conversation between the individual and their therapist to determine the best path for healing. I love to help people gain a deeper understanding of how their body moves and what it needs to improve function and movement. It is exciting to work together to achieve or even surpass their goals.”
On a personal note
“I have a passion for health and wellness. As yoga teacher (RTY-200) I like to spend my free time teaching and practicing yoga. I am a mother to 3 energetic swimmers and can often be found on the pool deck cheering them on.”
