Shannon obtained a Bachelors of Science in Sports Science from Washington State University, followed by a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Indiana State University.
Shannon has been working as a physical therapist since August 2021. While her employment experience is in outpatient orthopedics, she also has clinical experience in sports, pediatrics, and skilled nursing facilities.
According to Shannon
“One of the things I enjoy most about physical therapy is that I get to learn about my patients and help them progress towards things that actually mean something to them. I try to make physical therapy fun and applicable to each specific individual so that they have the best chance at success.”
On a personal note
“I have an interest in canine rehabilitation and am planning to complete my canine rehabilitation certification soon! My boyfriend and I have two dogs and three cats that keep us busy, but we also enjoy hiking, trying new foods, and enjoying the views of the PNW.”
