COVID-19

Safely returning to physical therapy at Anchor

Patient testimonial during COVID-19 crisis

IMPORTANT NOTICE RE: COVID-19

We want all of our patients and providers to know that, as an essential medical practice, our doors are open. We also want you to know that we are doing everything we can to keep everyone healthy and safe in the workplace while also minimizing the disruptions to our day-to-day operations so that we can provide medical care to those in need.

In order to minimize risk, we have taken steps to ensure a clean work environment that will have ready access to hand sanitizers/hand-washing stations and cleaning solutions recommended by the CDC. We are also implementing strategies to help with “social distancing.” We are also screening employees and all who enter the building for signs and symptoms of illness, requiring employees to wear masks and encouraging our patients to do the same. If you do not have a mask, one can be provided for you.

We recommend that all patients stay home if they are feeling any symptoms of fever, chills, coughing, or respiratory distress (such as shortness of breath or trouble breathing). The following are also key recommendations during this period while we attempt to combat the spread of this disease.

• Stay home if you are sick
• Stay home if you have had contact with a potentially infected person
• Refresh yourself on proper cough and sneeze hygiene
• Wash your hands regularly
• Do your best to refrain from touching your face

Anchor Physical Therapy keeps the well-being of all clients and patients our highest priority. If you have any questions or concerns about our current policies do not hesitate to reach out.
Sincerely,

Your Anchor Physical Therapy Team
